Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
My counselling practice offers a biopsychosocial approach with solution focused, client centered strategies integrated with cognitive behavioural therapy and strength-based psychoeducation. My approach focuses on supporting clients in identifying their preferred ways of coping, exploring new skills, processing experiences and developing a positive sense of self. Reflecting upon a Chinese proverb, “Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere,” I will work with you to explore your sense of self, pursue your goals and achieve personal satisfaction.
My professional experiences and training include working with youth, adults and the elderly along-side with their families and communities. I have a genuine interest and established background working with individuals experiencing transition, living with physical disabilities, exposed to trauma and/or working in the field of emergency response such as a first responders, police officers, firefighters and paramedics. I am an Occupationally Aware Clinician through FirstResponderHealth.org and can often be found advocating for therapeutic strategies that support those working close to home. I welcome enquiries and consultations.
